Sam is Managing Director of the firm's Legal & Compliance Executive Search Division.

Specializing in senior-level Legal and Compliance positions, Sam has worked with some of the nation's top financial services firms and has filled General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer positions for firms like Tweedy Browne, Transamerica, Pro Funds, and New York Life.

Prior to joining Strategic Alliance Group, Sam spent 17 years as a practicing attorney, representing children in various types of proceedings. As Legal Advisor for the Orange County Guardian ad Litem program, he trained, counseled, and supervised Guardian ad Litem attorneys representing abused and neglected children, and he was appointed by the Juvenile Court to personally represent countless children with severe developmental disabilities.

Sam has been a Partner with two law firms, a Sole Practitioner, and a Legal Aid Attorney. He spent the majority of his legal career as an Education Law Attorney, representing students with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and a wide variety of Physical, Mental, and Emotional Impairments. He was a frequent speaker on Education Law issues, presenting to The Florida Bar, the Learning Disabilities Association, the Tourette's Syndrome Association, and other organizations serving the needs of individuals with disabilities.

Sam was a Governor-appointed member of the Human Rights Advocacy Committee for the Developmentally Disabled, and served on both the Orange County and the District 7 Child Abuse Prevention Task Force. He has also served as a Board member for several associations, including the Center for Independent Living and the Seminole Housing Advocacy Coalition.

Following the birth of his twin daughters, he left a successful but highly demanding law practice to become an Executive Search Consultant. Sam's passion for excellence has served him well in both professions, and he has leveraged his prior experience as a "problem-solver and relationship-builder" to help Strategic Alliance Group, LLC become a premier national executive search firm.
